Installed mine on 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic LT with the clamp next to the throttle cables and the arm above the cut off switch. This allows unobstructed access to the cut off switch and the lock release. Didn't have to use the extension that was provided. Adjusted to allow movement when the throttle was locked, re. going up and down hills. With the hand resting on the grip, it will not back off. I highly recommend this clamp for those that have arthritis or just on long trips.
