It took a little while to exactly figure out how they mounted. But once that was sorted, probably about 15 min to fit. Very pleased with the results.
easy install

Best investment I made. Dropped Bike twice and not a scratch on the bike.

makes bike look bigger. saves engine and leg somewhat.
cons : sweeping clearence is low
Nice bars with a nice shape to compliment the style of the bike. Work great as I found out just over a month ago. Bars got scraped and slightly bent, but there was no damage to the frame, engine, or more importantly, my legs.

First, it is a wise investment for safety reasons. Besides that, the installation went without a hitch. The fit is tight and, well they just look great too!

Install takes about an hour give or take a few minutes. I suggest having a second person available to help hold it in place. This thing saved my ass when I put the bike down. I was able to walk away from the accident with just a broken collarbone instead of a whole lot more. Hit the pavement at about 35 mph, bike has some damage, but nothing like it would without the bars. Engine is untouched.

I chose the Cobra bars because I like the curves to it. Other bars are more angular in profile. It's purely a matter of personal choice/style. I didn't rate these as "excellent" only because I had to return my first set to Cobra because of a chrome defect that made it through quality control. To its credit, Cobra gladly approved the return.
