I put this PowrFlo intake (in black) on my 2014 VN900 Custom and it definitely opens up the air flow. The product feels mostly solid and the installation took very little time but there are two flaws that I cant seem to shake. First, the mesh doesnt fit tightly, when I'm going slow and start to run up the RPMs, I can hear it rattle just a bit and taking it off to clean it, shows places where its rubbing/vibrating. I'm trying to come up with a good solution for this, since you have to be able to remove it to clean it up using double sided 3m tape like normal is not a good option. Maybe a small piece of thin foam will do the trick. Second issue is that the place to hold the idle adjustment requires you to have the adjuster all the way out, normally this isnt a bad thing but when I left my adjuster in the slot for some reason it was able to vibrate just enough to make me have to adjust my idle basically every ride. I've just left my idle adjustment hang straight down and that resolved the issue. Its a good intake though, but I'll probably end up swapping it for something else, mostly because its hard to clean all the bugs out of the grill... Maybe I get more bugs than some other riders.
