This is my first cruiser...I bought this new in 2003..before this bike I was into sport bikes because I was young and really liked the speed and handling and lets face it, it got me a lot of snatch..it was very uncomfortable on long rides as all my friends had Harleys and could ride for hours with no discomfort....but I needed to be the fastest and have the biggest engine...so thats when I found the vtx 1800..im not claiming I can beat all harleys I just need to beat the Harleys I rode with...over the yrs ive added a couple thing cobra exhaust, kurakyn air intake and a programmer because of the exhaust...it wasn't till this year I started noticing that the bike was looking out dated...especially those massive turning signals and huge front headlight...if anyone does read this and has any good ideas for signals for the front I would appreciate the info..I have recently purchased a set of drag bars, levers, mirrors,handgrips,vertical sidemount, and covers for the hand controls...still looking for headlight would like something thats plug and play...
